Re: Iams pet food

Same video DT, but since it took weeks of undercover work, I would imagine that P & G will be more diligent in their security measures.

Definatly a friendly debate

I don't think it's about been rigid, for me it's more about where the info is coming from.

For example would you believe stories that are published in the sun newspaper, most of it is utter rubbish.

Iams is also old news now,so can I ask why are these animal rights people not protesting against puppy farmers ?

Re: Iams pet food

I dont use IAMS but do not boycott its use as I work for a large pharmaceutical company and so feel it would be hypocritical (although my personal belief is that testing for medical purposes is different from dog food and cosmetics).

also i take "evidence" from sources like PETA with a pinch of salt...or several pinches of salt

Re: Iams pet food

Here's another link. I know it mentions PETA but it's very informative about the background of Iams if anyone is interested

Re: Iams pet food

I raised the issue about Iam's again since I think this company and its barbaric experiments should be kept in the media.

I note that the TV and press are now focussing on Crufts which starts today.

Re: Iams pet food

I think posting these types of threads could be bad as what about any new members that feed Iams? At the end of the day every one has an opinion and has a choice of what food to feed there animals. Why should iams be discriminated against do you see posts called Hills Science plan? No! so why single out Iams!

Good post,I agree

I have also noticed we have no up to date info, it's years old now and old news.
Most of us members on here know the contraversy surrounding it so I don't really see the point in keep bringing it up.

If members want to feed it,then it's there choice and who are we to say what they should or should not feed their animals ?
