Are you going to stop using the food the vets sales too like the science diet thats tested on animals as well so the dog my mum had many years ago that had a protein problem ie could not eat food with it in (so supermarket pet food was out) would have not lived a long and happy life
Are you going to stop washing your hair, dying your hair putting on your make up too cos that tested on animals too?? we need some animal testing or things on this earth would be boring
We all have to do things that we don't like its a fact of life
I feed iams to my cats cos I want the best for my animals like many people do
Yes actually I never have used products or ingredients tested on animals and never will. It isn't hard now, years ago when I was a child it was bloody difficult and my parents pretty much had to hand make most cleaning products but it's certainly possible.

I may be a hypocrite one day and be forced to use medicines tested on animals, luckily so far in my life I've not needed to but I'm sure one day my ethics will be tested and I can't hand on heart say which way I'll choose. Hopefully before that happens medicines will be listed as which have and haven't been used on animals and I can make an educated decision.

Re: Iams pet food

I haven't read the whole thread but I see the link is related once again to uncaged who work or are related to Peta, they are nothing more than a bunch of demented loonies.

I think I have previously made my feelings clear on this subject.

And for anyone who's interested here's the think previously covering Peta, uncaged and Iams Stop Now!

From P&G's website. And before you start mouthing off, P&G have admitted the testing, that's how people know about it.

Re: Iams pet food

Interesting Chris,
I have just checked out P&G's website,
As for animal testing, P&G Beauty's position is clear: We do not test our beauty products on animals; nor do we ask suppliers to test them on our behalf. We do not test beauty ingredients on animals, except in rare cases when needed to meet regulatory or safety obligations.

But Sally, there is absolutely NO need to test on animals in this day and age (if there ever was).

I actually received an email from P & G regarding their pet food when they stated that the animals used in testing met the required standard, so they do not try to hide their involvement in experimentation (warning to people if watching the video. It is heartbreaking) http://www.petatv.com/tvpopup/video....iams&Player=wm.

I know your feelings about Peta, but you cannot disregrd their evidence
