Last night the club next door to us had a bit of trouble... police turned up - couple of cars and a dog van. The police in the cars ran inside the club while the dog handler stayed in his van. Some nutcase outside the club saw the empty police cars so ran and jumped on the top of one. The dog handler jumped out of his van like lightening and released a rottweiler from the back. The rotty leaped up and in one jump grabbed this guy and brought him off the roof of the car with a right crack and pinned him to the floor. IT WAS BRILLIANT!!!

I hear that the police were going to start using rottys but thats the first one I've seen!!

Rotties are such great dogs if raised properly!
Good to see them not being attacked by the media.

south yorks has 65 working dogs at the min.
i think 50 are german sheperds, there is labradors, a collie and springer spaniels.
in 2003 there was a specially bred litter of rotties.
these are used for searching, tracking and bite work.
maybe the rottie from last night was one of these?
