My Photography Thread

Hi everyone,

I am currently doing an evening photography course, so basically I'll keep uploading pics to this thread and you guys can keep giving feedback on each image!

I am trying to get as much criticism as possible (good or bad) thanks for your time!

Enjoy...

Re: My Photography Thread

I was gonna 'return' tomorrow, but I jost got the email so i did it now!

I think the first is my favourite too, But i want to get rid of the reflections from the boat (left middle) because they are distracting.

Also I think the B&W ones could be brighter then re-converted into B&W so then they'd appear to have more detail

Hi Dave great pictures I too think the first one is very good , I like the smooth surface that the water has and the way the spotlights stand out good job!

I got the smooth water by using a 15 second exposure, but I think i might try a 30 second one to make it look more 'misty'.

I've had mixed comments about the spotlights, some say there is too many and they are to distracting but some like yourself say they are nice

Re: My Photography Thread

okay, im a photography student as well.

the first image is great, i think you may have talent in that area. the composition is brill, although it might be cool to see more of the wearhouse to the right of the piccy.
the second im not so sure about its a bit dark (probably my computer though)
the thirds is good but not as good as the first.

good stuff
