What else is there to do in Tenby, that is one of the places we have been looking at.

Silver bay Anglessey the first place..
And not been tenby for a while.. but if you ring up the welsh tourist board they will email you the details for the areas you require.. I did it last year..

you could try here Short Break, Self Catering, Family and Activity Holidays in Bluestone, West Wales, UK

I have heard goods things about it also if you have kids you are not from oakwood theme park as well the kids will love it there lol !!

Erwood
Builth Wells
Powys

You can find details on the web. The oldest house in Wales, friendly, superb cooking. Allow dogs.

Three more places with spectacular countryside and excellent food. All can be found on the web:

Nant Dhu Lodge Hotel, Taf, Brecon.
Sygun Fawr Country House, Beddgelert.
Tynconnel, Tal-y-Llyn.

If you want a gothic experience, though the food is not quite so good as the other three,why not try the Baskerville Hall Hotel in the Welsh Borders near Hay-on-Wye.
Yes the Baskerville Family did live here.
Yes there is a phantom dog in the hills.
Yes, Conan Doyle was a friend of the family and stayed at Baskerville Hall.

He set the Hound of the Baskervilles in Dartmoor, at the request of the family, to avoid tourists visiting the Hall.

Just checked back on this thread after ages...
Well we booked our Feb holiday for Cornwall (Looe)
and our April holiday for North Wales...Nr snowdinia... looks lovely.
