I use Ebay alot,but I'm careful who I buy from and always checkout there feedback.
I've had a few problems but not many and they have always been sorted out.

i have never actually been on ebay but i think i wont bother now i sounds rather bad

I use Ebay all the time. I love the place but i must admit it has been getting worse for selling on as the fees are just stupid now. Ive only ever had a couple of problems in the past but that was mainly down to Paypal. You are more often than not refunded if am item doesn't arrive even if the seller has the proof of posting. I know as this also happened to me recently. My worst complaint about them is the lack of live, simple help. Paypal are usually telling you it's not down to them but Ebay and Ebay say the same, claiming it's Paypal. But Ebay owns Paypal so it doesn't make any sense. So i would say from a buyers point of view it is a great place with lots of bargains.

From E Bay I buy:

Childrens Hair and jewellery - you get job lots at very reasonable prices
Childrens toothbrushes
Chalets

There is quite a lot of fake goods goods on ebay at the moment. My sister has already returned two items, so it does make you think twice about using it

My Hub bought me a pair of proper Uggs form Eby and a day later he was contacted by the police as they were trying tocatch the o sellers as some of their stock was either fake or stolen!

I used to love ebay...i originally set up my shop there not having many problems. But this year i returned to ebay after my maternity leave and the changes made for sellers were diabolical and fees extortionate.

I did not think it fair to pass on the fees to my buyers so shut it down completely. I am hoping ebay will see the error in their ways but its doubtfull.

I agree ebay have tried to make itself a glorified online shopping mall but by doing this they have pushed out the smaller sellers and people wanting to sell off their bits and bobs round the house have realised theres no point for the coppers they will make from it...there fore there are not as many bargains and buyers may aswell go to amazon and other online shops for there goods.

I know ebay cut a large percentage of their work force a couple of months ago saying they was using the extra money to drive it into other things......likely story...more like the credit crunch is affecting them too hence the rise in fees.

Ive had a lot of bad experiences with sellers and buyers on ebay and also with ebay and paypal staff....so personally i hope they die on their Ass with this credit crunch and a more fair auction website moves up and takes over
