I love it but hate paypal, I have also had an email reporting fraudulent use of my paypal account. When I clicked on the link on the email the page could not be displayed. I am still yet to find out what has happened and am not happy. I want to cancel my account but not sure how. While you can get some really random stuff I really am starting not to trust it, have had some good ebay experiences too though, though do know some who paid £ 100 for a watch only to get a photo in the post claiming that was what he had purchased, not the actual watch!! Gutted isn't the word!!

i used 2 b an e.bay addict but dont buy much now! ordered a dimming themostat 4 my lizard n it never turned up.luckily they gave me a refund. they said they had deffo posted it.fed up with the post office its not the 1st time!

The worst thing that happend to me was, i'd sold some gold to someone, £130 i think it was and she claimed she never got it, i even emailed her and ebay and paypal the till receipt, but lost my gold and had to give her the money back..

Unfotunately John Donahoe took over ebay at the beginning of the year and ruined it for both sellers & buyers.
His background is consultancy (he is a consultant) which really sums it up. His plan is called "disruptive innovation" I kid you not. eBay’s Disruptive Innovation, How’s that workin’ for ya? — GenuineSeller He is trying to turn it in to shopping mall online/an Amazon lite. By forcing these changes through he has broken ebay and taken away the hobby selling/family feel to it. The commission fees are so high that you can't afford to sell things at the bargain price you could last year, so buyers are losing out. They've virtually forced free postage so that they can get commission on the postage, which is obviously just bumped in to the selling price. Sellers then cut corners to try and cut cost, where as before they could afford to ship by decent methods Both buyer and seller are forced to use Payapl, which is the scammers charter, but protects neither and they moved out of their UK office to Luxembourg to make it impossible to sue them in UK courts. Took away negative feedback for buyers, so scammers can carry on buying things and then put a paypal claim in for item not received. Even if you send it recorded delivery, Royal Mail is using so many temp workers that they don't bother to get signatures, just put the item with the letterbox.

Katie huni think you shouldve included paypal in the poll too lmao Yep i hate paypal, i now have an account on there, where i only accept cheques or uncrossed postal orders or elelctronic payments! I hate paypal with a passion!
Jan i bet you any money she got the gold and the cash the mary i hate peeps like that! I had a guy once sayin he hadnt had the dvd that i sent him so i got him another that he really wanted and sent him that, and hey presto he didnt get that one either..............so i sent him a message and said i doubt it would happen twice and that i was going to report him to ebay, needless to say i heard nothing more from the rat! I hate peeps like that, they dont deserve to breath the same air as us! Hehe
