Brainwave (or very bad weather) LOL

why dont we charge a fee to join the forum under £5 put the money into a charity account so as members hearing about these desperate cases we can pull funds to support the animal

good idea or wishful thinking I would pay for that

very nice thought

its a good idea in theory but it might put off a lot of members as there are so may free pet sites out there, some people also have no way to pay on the internet, it would have to have something like paypal to make it more accessible to people which might be a problem??? worth asking about though, I would pay something to charity well I do anyway

Re: Brainwave (or very bad weather) LOL

It is a nice idea, but like vixie, said, it would put people off joining! I know it wouldve done me so, no dont think it would work.

I always donate £5 to dogs trust, and the nspcc at christmas!

We always get begging letters through the post, so i think if peeps want to give there are lots of options open to them, even links on ebay!

But thanks for the lovely thought!

Good Idea, but it will put people off joining,we support SBT Rescue and give what we can.

All rescue's need money and it really helps but what they need most of all is Forever homes for the dogs.

Tasha, you know me, I would be more than happy to do this. Its a great cause I guess however, it may put some people off on low incomes!

Re: Brainwave (or very bad weather) LOL

I think this would reduce the amount of members that sign up. However, i think you could speak to mark and see if he would mind making a page which tells a story about the charity and then a donate button??

Just a thought.

Re: Brainwave (or very bad weather) LOL

I already give to Dogs Trust, Wildlife Trust and am an active member of my local Community Action Group. I cannot give or do anymore. And I wouldn't class myself as low income either Nina.
