Fireworks..................

Havent seen them in the shops yet but bet it wont be long. I dread this time of year it sounds like Afghanistan round our way once the kids get hold of them. I get so worried about any pets that are left outside knowing how cruel some yobbos can be

I used to leave my horse out in the field so he could run away and get away from them as some yobos through them in to a horses stable and fastend one to there tail i though he would be better out running around and he was fine, but dogs who live out i feel sorry for there are some really horrible people out there

Jesus how sick are they that they could do that to a horse, I would be up for murder if I caught them doing that to mine when I had one

OMG thats awfull.. yeh I think sometimes the best thing can be for the horse to be out so they can at least get away if some idiot gets near them.

Feel so sorry for pets this time of year.. my cats are only 9 months old so havn't heard fireworks yet.. hope they dont get too scared

They'll be ok inside Bee, mine just sort of lie there and twitch up their ears at the bangs. They dont tend to get stressed, I think I get more stressed than they do

Re: Fireworks..................

Don't get me started... the house that backs on to us had a 'display' last year... the d@mn things were exploding right about our house and it was scaring me, far less Kira who is practically paralised with fear... it makes me so mad that people should be allowed to terrify my dog in her own home to that extent and I can do nothing about it.

And it wasn't even on firework night! Remember when we were kids there was a big thing about keeping all your pets indoors on bonfire night etc? What do they expect us to do, not go let them out for 3 months??

mad:mad:

See, i said you shouldn't get me started
