Where my parents live all the kids go round on trick or treat at the same time with the parents lol

Last year there were about 15 kids from 18months old to about 12 with a couple of parents and had all made loads of effort with their costumes so didnt mind answering the door to them!

Aww the little baby had an all in one skeleton outfit on, made me chuckle lol

Oh and they only wanted sweets! ha ha

Re: Fireworks..................

I love firework night - but that is what it should be firework night and one night only.

It has been a tradition that has been in my family since we were young kids.

In our back garden we have a bonfire and fireworks. Jacket spuds, sausages and mushy peas.

Everyone gets wrapped up warm and has a really nice time.

I have carried it on in my house.

It should be more strictly governed that they are only allowed to be let off one night of the year - firework night. And that is it.

aww that sounds so sweet.. my Mum HATES fireworks with a passion so we never really celebrated it.. my Dad took us to a firework display once and this firework went shooting through the crowd!

Needless to say that just fuelled my Mums hate for them!

Re: Fireworks..................

we've had fireworks, especially bangers going off around here for the past week.
seems like someone must be picking and choosing what laws to enforce.
i heard its supposed to be illegal.
must be no money to be made in this one.

Re: Fireworks..................

I reckon any of us that are experiencing any probs should ring our councils and complain. After all we all have to pay council tax and part of that if for policing. So lets get on to them and get private fireworks banned, what you reckon? also we can 'grass' on little corner shops that are starting selling fireworks already, send your 11 year old in as a test to see if they will sell to them or not, evil cackle going on here

Re: Fireworks..................

My Jack Russell is a mess when she hears them. She pants constantly, paces up and down, won't sleep at night.
We give her Bach rescue remedy and we put the DAP diffusers on.

This little dog doesn't seem the mind like! LOL!
