Sorry to hear about your niece! I dont have children either all i would advise though is take her str8 to the doctors! Good luck and hope the wee little one is better soon!

I agree with Gillieworm, I had this problem with my son, kept screaming every time I lay him on his back, doctors and h/v kept saying it was bad colic, but the anti colic things didn't work.

I kept taking him to the docs and eventually they tested him and found out he was allergic to milk and egg, I breast fed him so all stuff containing milk and egg I was eating was going straight into him and he was in pain all the time.

Tell your sister not to back down to the docs as they just make you feel stupid sometimes.
