Pygmy hedghogs

These are meant to be the new pet craze. Although they are meant to be great pets. Surely they need special care and alot of space you think of our usual hedghogs travel some distance. And are free to pick there mates and choose there own food. Are pet owners able to offer the care they require. Has anyone on here got any, and how hard are they to care for. They are very sweet looking. I know these are indoor pets but do there require heating.
