Exclamation Country Roads?.....................What sort....

of driver are you? lol.
When you see the national limit signs on country roads do you tear arse you way round em, or do you drive sensibly to the country code as i do .

Today for instance with all this rain, i was out going through a flood slowly as you do, and this absolute plonker went racing through it overtaking me and everyone else PLONKER D. So hence this thread lol. Doesnt need a poll i dont think lol.

Re: Country Roads?.....................What sort....

Slow drivers get on my tits, if you go 35 in a 30 limit why go 35 in a 60 limit? And for all those that think national speed limit is 50 on a single carriage, IT'S NOT!!! PUT YOUR FACKIN' FOOT DOWN!!!!

Re: Country Roads?.....................What sort....

On country roads with a 30 limit I usually do that, or just above. If it's a 50 limit, I do 50... unless it's country roads I haven't used before. They can be dangerous if you aren't aware of a massive bend coming up!

PS: as for speed limits, the only reason I stick to them (which is very rare) is because I don't want to get caught, fined and then get points on my license lol, not for any other reason... yes I am bad and should be careful lol.

Re: Country Roads?.....................What sort....

I used to be terrible when I lived and worked in the smoke (London). I used to drive like a loony. And got away with it for many years. Then when speed cameras came in I kept getting caught, ,and points don't mean prizes they mean fines, expensive insurance and not very good if one was to lose their license working in the public sector.

So now one drives like a saint. Plus I have to think of my wee children and their lives are more precious than anything else.

Re: Country Roads?.....................What sort....

some people havent got the sence they were born with when it comes to driving.as for overtaking you and others on a flooded road i bet the plonker didnt even think it would afect his breaks, had he needed to use them..and i'll be honest i only slow down when i see a speed camera cos i'll be damned if i'll give this goverment any more than i need to...fewwwwwww that feels better

The national speed limit on a country road is 60 isn't it? not 50, silly me!

Same here, since Foxy's been travelling in the car with me I drive so granny style lol. My mum likes it like that, she often moans at me when I drive... infact she nags

God knows why they do it Kay! I remember going on the motorway a couple of years ago and went through a really bad storm, most of us had really slowed down and some of the idiots were still belting past at 90 or more!
