Freecycle UK

Hi I wondered if anyone here used freecycle uk, Ive used it for a few months now & find it very handy.

People who have things in good condition they no longer require advertise them, if they are of use to you if they haven't already gone you just arrange to collect them.

I passed on 4 fish tanks with stands
3 vivariums
Table & chairs
China Cabinet
Wicker shelf units
Dog beds
Also helped a lady get a dog crate from a friend of mine who lived near her for her dog who's had spinal surgery, & most recently a dog crate going to a lady needing one for her puppy who's broken his leg (just waiting for arrangements to have it collected)

I've had 2 excellent 21 in TV's for my teenagers bedrooms, a fridge freezer to keep all my frozen dog food in & a huge mahogany chest of drawers.

it's worth looking for your local group as they are all over the uk, & it's surprising what people need to pass on & how helpful it is if your in desperate need because 9 times out of 10 someone has what you need & will pass it on
