Yes, I do consider my animals as part of the family but I also think its important that we do remember that they are animals too as we do have the tendancy to humaise them too much and thus we impose unrealistic goals for them. an example being when a cat scratches your sofa, some people say and beleive that the cat does this out of spite, which ofcourse we know they dont because we know that they do not understand the concept of spite.

Our children do samething since they don't know yet. That's why we have to take care of them. We are family!! Let's go go..
