Urgent Help Plz

one of my cats has gone missing, yesterday he didnt come in for food and this morning he was in the back of the garden, we opened the door and he did a runner but not after we noticed his face was covered in blood and he was running/walking lower than normal

We have called the rspca , local vets etc but no one has brought him in. He did have a collar but we buy the ones that will snap if he gets stuck so he doesnt strangle himself

We have been door to door and we dont know what else we can do.

Any ideas??

Re: Urgent Help Plz

Injured or sick cats will usually find something to hide in or under, bushes, sheds ect. I'm sorry for you, I hope you find him soon. Could he of been hit by a car or in a fight with another cat ?
Sorry I can't be of much more help, mine don't free roam, but I do know they hide away when they don't feel right.

Please don't take this the wrong way, but as it's happened once, can you not keep them as house cats. I personally would'nt want it happening twice, just not worth the risk or losing them

Re: Urgent Help Plz

Put posters up in local shops, on lamp posts etc etc just on case someone sees him. Harleyfudge went missing when he was only a few months old, and that's what we did. A lady from a couple of doors down saw the poster and rang us to say she could see him sleeping in the field behind her house - and he was there, but he'd broken his leg and wouldn't have been able to get back to us.

Re: Urgent Help Plz

well the first one wasnt hit by a car in the normal sense, basically people over the road were getting their kerb dropped and there was wooden board over the cracked kerb etc so he laying under it , he couldnt see the car, the car couldnt see him

They are definately going to be house cats from now on but they love the outdoors
