Hi there Carol, I hpoe she is ok, my 5 year old son had the same problem earlier this year and had the op to have his apendix removed. Tell her that she will be fine and the scar is very small and fades so much that it can hardly be seen and his is still fadeing now. After the op she will feel so much better even with the stitches. tell here we are all thinking of her.
