It's the same with everything though, it's easy to miss the good and pick at the bad. I don't think you've done a bad job, far from it. If others do then that's there problem and not something you should worry about, it's not worth it, it's a internet forum and you don't even really know anyone so what does it matter. I hope you're not another one thinking of leaving?

Totally agree,
Sometimes Mods have to make hard decisions,it's not nice but has to be done,Vixie for what it's worth I've never had a problem with you,I think you are a great member and Mod,a great asset to this forum and most importantly you always treat members with respect.

Can I remind people that our current moderators Vixenelite and Carol have done a great job of helping the pet forums community continue and grow stronger since they have taken on this extra responsibility. Can I remind people to respect our moderators and treat them how you would like to be treated yourself. I have noticed some people have been saying negative comments about our moderators which reflects on all of them, when in fact they are doing a great job to help our site.

I am going to be looking for maybe 1 or 2 extra moderators in the next week or 2 to help myself, vixenelite and carol continue to keep the forum growing and a friendly place to be for us all. Being a moderator is not an easy task, they have to make difficult decisions sometimes which often result in members ganging up on them and being given abuse which has happened quite a few times to many of our moderators and even myself. Some moderators have allegedly been intimidated and threatened after they have given out warnings to members.

Whoever we choose to be a moderator will have to understand this and prepare themselves for a hard time. Im also in the process of tightening the pet forums security so that people cannot register with free email accounts or use proxy's so that all our members can be traced via their ISP's. In future, any members who give abuse to our moderators will be banned immediately and permanently from our forums, if they continue to harass our moderators after being banned, their ISPs will be notified of their actions.

I hope we can now all continue to help each other make the forum a better and safer place for us all. Afterall, myself and the moderators are working to provide you all with a fun community and good place to visit.

I think some people see mods as the enemy so to speak only there to spoil the fun and boss people, but its the complete opposite, I have been a member for far longer than I have a mod and I for one would rather have nothing to moderate (i.e the forum running smoothly) and have fun than have to give warnings or delete post but as sallyanne said it has to be done and hopefully being a member first and foremost gives us the insight to realise when to step in and when step back and let things continue, I may not always agree with someone's point of view but that's life and wouldnt it be boring if we all felt the same way about everything but I think I can be impartial enough to make the right decisions to facilitate in helping make this a productive forum

m not exactly sure what has happened to Tashi as she hasnt been on the forum for a while. I think she was getting a hard time from a few of our users which upset her and decided to stay away for a while.
