I think some people see mods as the enemy so to speak only there to spoil the fun and boss people, but its the complete opposite, I have been a member for far longer than I have a mod and I for one would rather have nothing to moderate (i.e the forum running smoothly) and have fun than have to give warnings or delete post but as sallyanne said it has to be done and hopefully being a member first and foremost gives us the insight to realise when to step in and when step back and let things continue, I may not always agree with someone's point of view but that's life and wouldnt it be boring if we all felt the same way about everything but I think I can be impartial enough to make the right decisions to facilitate in helping make this a productive forum

I've said before in a previous post being a Mod/Admin is a thankless task and I personally don't want to see anymore Mods leaving
I've also said before this is a great forum and has HUGE potential to be one of the best on the internet

Thats why I am tightening up the forums security and registration process, to protect the forum and our moderators from abuse. Also, if I do hear about any moderators being hassled, the user responsible will be banned immediately and not be given a second chance.

well surely anyone being abused by another member should be banned straight off any way, thought they were the rules anyway

It's not nice when mods are threatned or abused they do an awful lot of work behind the scenes to keep forums running.
