thanks for putting us in the picture mark but it seems a lot of people were banned by these 2 so couldnt we start again and ask the banned members to return they made the forum what it is in many ways thanks again

Hi,

I have lifed the bans that have taken place last night and removed all threads related to this and whats happened from the general chat so that we can keep it all in this thread.

I want things to move forward, so I dont want everyone name calling as some people arent here to defend themselves.

In future I want things to change about how we moderate the site but this will take a bit of time. Im suggesting that off-topic threads should be closed and only problem posts should be deleted, not full threads. Also I want to change it so that moderators only ban spammers, any other banning of members should go through myself for the final decision.

Discussion of banned members should be done in private and if any has a problem with my decision then they should contact me via PM and nbot on a thread.

Your constructive comments and thoughts are welcome.

I think that would be a good idea seen as most of the problems the banned members had were with those certain MOD'S.

Mark I'm sure things will get back to normal pretty soon,
I't's sad that we have lost two members one been a mod and i'm sure you didn't take the decision lightly.In my opinion it was the right one,no matter how heated things get no mod has the right to speak to any member in the way Darren did.
Alot of threads will just exhaust themselves anyway,well this is what I've found on other forums anyway.
So come on guys lets make this place a happy place to be with lots of good sound advice,some of our members are extremely knowlegeable and give great advice.

Garry I don't think we need to lay into Mark, this isn't his doing and I'm sure in time they will let you back on and give you another chance as it's now clear what has gone on. I think the changes to the way the forum is moderated are good ideas. Will I be able to log on as myself now then?
