I just noticed today that on Picasa 3 which is a free download, you can add a watermark on your pictures.

Picasa 3 is great for for editing too and is a fantastic free photo programme.

i use photoshop to put a signiture on my images, i'm not sure how to do it properly.
especially were you are not allowed to even click the save as button on some prints on websites - especially photography ones. i wish i new

Whether you mark them or not you hold copyright of any photos you take so you could sue anyone who uses them without your permission.

Must be nearly Xmas... I'm going to agree with Patch. The Berne convention stopped the need for use of the "c" symbol. As soon as your image is in a "fixed" form (photo , video , drawing even sculpture) you own the "right to copy" (copyright).
