Re: Collection

I have always felt that the support of the forum was what mattered to Sammy and now her parents.

Some of us discussed this idea before and came up with the idea of the flower thread because at the end of the day it really is about thought and sentiment rather than the financial giving of money.

I would suggest should anyone wish to make a financial contribution then a donation to The McMillans or similar would be an appropriate gesture.

Trying to collect from such a vast forum where there has been shown such support would be extremely complicated and would probably result in a significant amount of money (much more than necessary for flowers).

It has been suggested that we could set up a donation page on one of the websites specifically set up for this sort of thing but i have no idea how to do that (maybe someone more technical does)

I think you can donate on these sites via paypal

Re: Collection

As a suggestion, someone could set up a Justgiving page - with funds going specifically to McMillan Nurses as Rainy suggested.

Link is Justgiving - the easiest way to fundraise and donate to charity online
