Re: Something wrong

Hi All,

Ive had the following response from the support team :

Quote:
We have had quite a few issues with Virgin Media before. This however is an issue with their peering and there is nothing we can do about. I suggest you let your customers know they should contact Virgin Media and hopefully they will do something about it as every time we have tried to bring this to their attention we get ignored as we are not a customer or direct peering partner of theirs.

This is the first time i have heard of this issue on Talk Talk however and i will forward this to the network team.
It Looks like the only way we can get this sorted out is if everyone who has a problem accessing the forum and is using either virgin media or talktalk, ring their helpdesk and complain about it and maybe something will be done.

Thanks
Mark

Re: Something wrong

Hi All,

This website is hosted with a company called PoundHost which is part of the "Blue Square Data Group" which includes many other hosting companies in the UK including EUKHost.

I have searched on the internet and found the thread below relating to the problem with Virgin Media Users and their connection to websites hosted within the Blue Square Data Group.

Official Virgin Media Connection Problem Thread - UK Web Hosting | Dedicated Server Windows and Linux VPS Forum

It doesnt mention any problems with talktalk users but im sure its the same problem.

Im sure the only way to get this fixed will be for everyone to raise a helpdesk call and let them know they cant access this website.

Thanks
Mark
