I keep getting logged out of PF
As above. Is there some sort of timeout setting that has been applied? I keep being logged out of the forum when I've not been browsing for a while.

hmm I never get logged out even after shutting the comp off...have you ticked the remember me check box on logging in ?

I do believe that if you havent ticked the remember me box, that you are automatically logged off after 15 mins of inactivity.

Well thats how it works on most vBulletin forums.

Yes I have the tick in saying remember me. I’m at work (shouldn’t really be on the forum) and normally I stay logged in but today It keeps logging me out after inactivity of about 1/2 hour. I know most website have this as a security feature but I've not had it before on PF. It is a good thing though for security reasons.

I couldn't get in at all until now, I tried the front door and all I got was a white screen saying bad gateway(????????? wth that means?) So I've come in via the back door.

The gateway connects you to the correct page of the PF network i.e. re-directs the user (i.e. you) to the correct page within the PF network. I work in IT.

Hope this makes sense.

I'm glad to read I'm not the only one. PF must have upgarded their network security. It's a good thing though.
