Suggest you go here

Housetraining your pup or older dog

It will give you lots of information about housetraining.

You are very welcome, and welcome to the forum as well. Please feel free to ask anything, and please post pictures. We all love pictures of cuddly pups!

Re: new 8 week old pupp

Did you get any advice from the breeder?

For all puppy type information I recommend Gwen Bailey's 'The Perfect Puppy'

and yes, we need photos!!!

Re: new 8 week old pupp

Yes, the picture is fine, but if you want to upload to the actual post, when you go to reply there is a sort of exclamation mark type symbol with a drop down box. Click that and it will take you to a place where you can upload pics from your pc.

I would not leave a puppy alone with an older dog unsupervised, but other than that you need to watch to be sure they are not pestering each other. That is the time to step in and separate them.
