the dogs are fine together realy they get on playing and stuff they both have there own bed etc my 3 year has kinda gone in to muumy mode when she whines she comes running so cute but even now she is in the kitchen just whineing i keep goin in cheking and fussing them both not to leave 1 of them but still whine whine whine

They may be fine together, but the older dog could easily lie on the puppy by mistake. Puppies that age are extremely delicate, with their little bones still growing, so you do need to be careful.
