Signatures are out of control

I wonder how many people have chosen the "hide signature" option in their settings, because of the busy/large/in your face type signatures some seem to sport here.

There ought to be a limit on siggie size, don't you think? It's annoying to try to read through a thread and have to do so much scrolling because of siggies that take up half a page.

Well, I've opted to not see them any more which is refreshing, though it does make me a little sad, because some have nice siggies that I like seeing. But the big ones are just too much.

I like to seem them but IMO the limit must be too big as some are HUUUGE

I have them switched off, not because I dont like seeing them however big they are, but because I usually use a dongle and a page can take forever to download.

Please can we limit the size of photos in sigs?

There is a limit if you do it the proper way. If you add them from somewhere like Photobucket as a IMG code then it doesnt limit it, like the pictures in posts.

I hate when people quote a person who has put a huge picture in their post but leaves the picture so its repeated over and over again! You have to scroll so much to see the comments!

Although, heres a trick from my OH that I didnt know, if you press space bar, it jumps to the beggining of the next post so less scrolling! You guys proberly all know that already

Oh, and I try to keep my sig a reasonable size but I have so many pets to fit in
