Profile picture...

How do you put up a profile picture - it shows my image as 'current profile picture' but when i click on 'save' is says' upload failed!!

is it in jpeg format? it could be to big hopefully someone more savvy with computers will come on

My guess is that if you're uploading the photo directly from your system, the file extension (e.g. jpg, exe) is incorrect or the file itself is corrupt/damaged.

It could also be that the file itself is simply too big for the forum to re-size it automatically. Try to keep the file at around 200 x 200 pixels or 64KB - you don't have to be too strict with these constraints as the forum will re-size it by itself as long as the file isn't massive.

If none of this works, try uploading the file to an image hosting site such as Photobucket and copy and paste the URL to the image. Or, contact the forum admin: Mark (username: petforum).

Are you going to,edit profile then putting the picture for avitar? Thats how to do it if you want your picture next to your name.
