Re: Junior ?!

Oh that would be a horrible teacher called Baity, she would hit us really hard all the time, we all complained to our parents but she said it was just a "go back to your seat tap" and we just weren`t listened to being kids, it was horrible,I`d quite like to give her a "go back to your seat punch in the face" lol I`m depressed now, NEEEXT !!!!

Re: Junior ?!

Fishing - which do you prefer river/lake or sea fishing & why

Metal detecting - it must be a man thing that lives in Somerset my hubby has one too!
What's the most valuable thing you've found? (we found a pound coin on west looe beach once)

Answer over 2 posts - we're almost there!

Re: Junior ?!

Mmm difficult that one, lakes are cool because you`ve got a captive target, I don`t really like river fishing because I`m not a fan of cows! and theres always cows! I love the sea! but you never seem to catch a great deal, its a draw between lake and sea I think!

Re: Junior ?!

Well, I don`t go detecting to make money, if I did I`d be very disapointed every time I spent hours searching and came back with nothing valuable, and before you know it my hobby is roaming around farmers fields getting annoyed ! lol a more fitting question lol (sorry) would have been, whats the most interesting thing you`ve found? lol oooooh allsorts of cool stuff ! they`re all really cool and interesting in there own way so maybe a short list of the best stuff, a roman brooch , a medievel trade weight , a medievel ring roman coin and all sorts ! so pictures by request ! .........5.........

Re: Junior ?!

Ok regarding lake fishing, there are normally Carp, Bream etc

Whats the largest Carp you have caught?

We found an old toy car & some coins but nothing of great historical interest yet.

Where is the most ancient place you have been detecting & what did you find there?

Re: Junior ?!

Mmm well the two best sites I`ve been to are the market town of Wantage where I found my roman brooch which has been dated at 43-75AD also I`ve been detecting in a place called Monkton farleigh where I`ve had quite a ot of medievel finds like my signet ring which was dated 1400-1600AD my first roman coin dated 330-340 mymedievel trade weight which was the best the archaeologists had seen in years apparently that was dated 1250-1500 AD the odlest find I`ve had came from there, I spotted this while I was eating my dinner lol its a bronze age flint arrow head and its really lovely.
