Cute pet photo contest..........

People keep posting to this thread with their lovely pictures, but is a contest actually going to happen It was already on the site when I first joined and still on now, and cant see where it is going. If it is just an area for cute piccies then maybe the word 'contest' should be took off it.

Or is their eventually going to be a poll or is there a closing date or anything like that?

Maybe there could be poll to get the top twelve and a calendar be printed of the top twelve on different months and put for sale to the members on here, if you get peeps to book a copy of the calendar then that will give an idea of the income that will come from its sales. Put against the printing cost, it may be a way of providing some funds for the running of the forum.

Maybe admin and mods could shortlist the entries to the last 30 say, then make a poll for the members to vote for the last twelve. Would be quite exciting me thinks

Ive been meaning to do something with this for a while but havent had the time. The best photos where going to be featured as 'Pet of The Day' on our other site Cute and Funny Pet Photos of Dogs, Cats, Kittens, Puppies and other Pets at DailyPets , but I havent had the time to update it recently. I will have to do something with it shortly. Any suggestions are welcome.

What do you think of the calendar suggestion though Mark, I mean Christmas is coming and time is short, I am sure at least the owners with their pets featured would book a few copies at least for their friends and family, if not other pet lovers? If you can get a shortlist and a poll going, its feasible we could get a calendar sorted in time for Crimbo

In prinicipal, the calendar idea was a good idea, but I dont have the money to pay for the printing upfront and dont have time to organise it, take orders, and post off calendars.
