Please please can you be careful that you dont overload people with help for their pets, a little knowledge can be very very dangerous, I would rather that you didnt give advice that is too detailed, this can lead to many problems in that people may refrain from taking their pets to the vets as they think that you are qualified enough to give advice.

Also can you refrain from 'in our practice' put into posts in any way shape or form, we have now had a few complaints and moderating is in no way getting easier.

Can I just add, we dont mind people helping by giving out advice to pet owners as long as the pet owners understand that this is only the posters opinions and that in most cases the pet should be taken to a qualified VETs for a professional opinion.
