I do delete members if they wish to be removed, it doesnt delete all threads/posts, it leaves them and removes the persons name from the threads/posts so it says guest. The users account and username is also removed.

I dont usually delete peoples accounts straight away, I usally leave it a few days to a week, as once an account is deleted their is no way to undelete it. The majority of people often change their mind and usually only ask to be deleted in the heat of the moment after a disagreement on the forum.
