I found one of my girls apparently had a litter of all chocolate pups on e-Pupz when she was nursing her 5 week old black and chocolate litter at home

Unless there is a statement to the T&C's on this site over whether you relinquish copyright when you put it on the site - then the info you put on here is yours and therefore you can put it anywhere you like.
Unfortunately, the minute you put anything on the web, whether it be photos or text, then it is very difficult to stop anyone else using it - and thus contravening the copyright - whether you put a statement on it or not is irrelevant as shazalhasa points - Copyright is implied.
One way around this which MIGHT make people 'play nicely' is to permit it's use with an acknowledgement and a link to wherever it came from.
With regards to images, put Copyright statements on them - OVER the image - not just on the bottom where it can be removed using a photo editor - unfortunately - this spoils the image with the advent of screen printing even embedding in Flash doesn't prevent people stealing the these days
