how do you add a link to your message?

i am a computer idiot. only managed to post a picture on this site on friday after loads of help from a moderator. (thanks tashi) now i need to know how to put this picture in a thread with a link?? any instructions in plain english for me to follow whould be really healpfull.

When you post a thread or message, in the grey area of the box, next to the smiley you will see a paperclip, click on that and you will be able to browse your pc to upload your picture! If ya still stuck come back and ask again ok!

Do you mean copy the link (IMG Codes) into your post so that your image shows up automatically?

If so, are you uploading your pictures to an image hosting site... like Photobucket? If so, under each image uploaded to Photobucket there is an IMG link that you need to copy and paste into a post - starts with [IMG]

Copy and paste the location of your image onto your message thread and simply copy and add the 2 bold codes each side. I've highlighted the 2 codes bold to show you, please don't make them bold when you're writing your message.

[img]http:/www.yoursite/images/photo.jpg[/img] link broke for demo. Your image url should read something like I've posted in red.
