FAO Mods....

Could this thread by Rainybow be made a sticky, as a lot of us feel very strongly about giving pets as presents & I feel if it even makes one family stop & think about the realities of owning a dog then it's worthwhile
Thinking of getting a dog/puppy ?? The realities.

Re: FAO Mods....

Thankyou

I like the fact that it is really good humoured but makes the point.

Alot of the things people have posted are reasons people often give for giving up a pup after a few weeks.

I didn't realise they make such a mess
Didn't know it would get that big
It's biting the children
It's chewed the house
It barks alot
I don't have the time it needs ....

Like i said we get alot of people lurking on here and just looking for general info on getting a dog/pup so hopefully it lays it out without being patronising or preachy Can't beat good honest 1st hand accounts

Thanks to everyone for their input, it has really made me chuckle today
