How to find a moderator

I've noticed that quite a few people have posted threads in the past asking which moderators are online and making requests which could be dealt with more quickly by sending a PM to a mod directly.

To find a a moderator, scroll to the bottom of the page and look just above the photo gallery link. Click on 'View Forum Leaders' as shown in the red box below.

This will then take you to the page which displays the usernames of the site moderators and the site administrator. Any moderators that are online will have a green dot next to their username. If the dot is grey, they are offline. You can send a PM to a moderator or the admin by clicking on 'Send PM' on the right-hand side, as shown in the red box.

Hopefully this should make things easier for new members.

Re: How to find a moderator

I joined 2 days ago and made a post which has still not been approved. There was nothing controversial about the post. I cannot find a way to contact anybody about this. 25 posts before one is allowed to send a PM? Ludicrous.

Thank you and goodbye.

The first post on this thread tells you how to find a moderator. Yes, it is 25 posts before you can access pm facilities but you are still able to post on a moderator's wall if you have a problem.

The spam filter may seem a little strict to some but it sure does filter out real nasties before members get to see it, for that I'm grateful.
