I appreciate the offer of help but it's not necessary. I joined up, I joined in, and it just wasn't for me. It's no slur on the members or the forum itself, merely personal preference

I dont think you can be deleted - just dont log in again - you can be banned etc but thats not what you want - you might aswell just not come back again - thats the only way I think

most people just dont come on any more and leave their profiles there just in case they decide to come back one day but if you really want to leave then you can send a pm to petforum and that will get you in touch with Mark who runs the forum the other way to do it is to go to the bottom of the page and click on contact us and you can write your message to him that way, he will let you know if it can be removed completely or not, but why not give it some time and rethink things,

Opppsss I didnt realize that - as when I checked a while ago members who have left etc just had banned etc under their name - Mark hadnt deleted them - which would be the better way to go

My profile contains my email address, and I'm not inclined to have unused accounts sitting about with such information on them. I thought it would just be a button to be honest.

you can change your options so that your email doesnt show if that helps at all

I think it might be a good idea to introduce that "Delete Profile" button. I have been on many forums/profile sites and when I got fed up or just didn't want to be part of it anymore I wanted to be removed completely.
