Help with my signature pic - linking

I'm trying to make the banner in my signature an active link, so that you really CAN click on it to go to my website! I know it can be done, there's people on here that have it.

So how do I do it? I can't figure it out! Everything I try does something other than what I want it to.

On the edit signature page select your banner then click the little globe with a paperclip and then type in your website URL.

It needs to be:

{url=http://www.yoursite.com}{img}http://yourimageurl.com{/img}{/url}

Change the url's to your site, and then change the { to [ brackets, and voila
