Thread ratings - for Mark

Hi Mark,

The "mystery thread rater" who comes on rating certain member's threads as 1 star just for sheer hellish kicks is starting to get annoying.

Please can you open your vBulletin admin panel in a new tab and navigate to vBulletin Options > Poll and Thread Rating Options. Under the bit that says "Required Thread Rating Votes to Show Rating" can you change the value from the current setting of 1 to 3 and press save?

This would mean at least 3 members have to bother submitting a rating before the stars actually show up with a "score" on the poster's thread.

Many thanks,

Chris.

Yes, I agree. This one star fairy is affecting people's threads, and it's just starting to get damn right irritating

It's not just me and classix who has something to say about it!

Thanks x

Re: Thread ratings - for Mark

Ok then - I fess up: It..... wasn't me!

But until some solution is found could we do away with the whole star rating system for good? It is getting hugely annoying. Even the stupidest threads have 5 stars, even when there are no other posts apart from the op (so my hunch is the op is rating themselves) and those that are interesting get 1 (my hunch is one of the three suspected fairies).

But the pf is starting to resemble a clear sky at night with all those stars ....

Re: Thread ratings - for Mark

I've been going round rating the threads which have been down rated and voted with a 5. It's proper annoying, really is! And great idea, MARK LOOK HERE!

Re: Thread ratings - for Mark

HOW long have i been banging on about this

It really does need sorting. At least it is so widespread now that its laughable but it has been used to prod and poke at certain members (myslef included) for over a year now
