What's happened to the Paypal donations idea? I thought that was going to be implemented?

Hi Alan,

Yeah, I will get round to it soon and make a thread to let everyone know how to donate. As ive mentioned before, I run Pet Forums on a very powerful server which costs me close to £200 each month. I got this server in case the forum starts to get very popular. I didnt want to get a basic server and then have to go through an awkward upgrade to a more powerful server at a later date as I hate switching hosting providers as it can be a real pain sometimes.

So, if anyones got any other ideas about raising money to help keep the forum running, please let me know.

I think if you did a Paypal donation thingymajiggy you'd probably get more than £200 donations a month anyway!

Personally i wouldnt touch Paypal with a bargepole but the idea is good

I think the PayPal idea is good.

I don't know much about Nochex. But most people I know prefer and use PayPal.

When making payments you don't have to type out or give out your card number... etc. I personally like PayPal. Have been using it for a good few years and had no problems with it.

Yes there are charges for certain things and transactions. But how would they keep themselves going if it was all free!
