Siamese Fighter Fish Questions
I have been given a small 13 litre tank as a present. It has a filter pump, gravel and a plastic plant. I though I will maybe only get one male siamese fighting fish for my tank.
I have a few queastions: Do I need to heat the water in some way as witrh other tropical fish? or will it be warm enough in a home environment? I have got water conditioning drops and dried bloodworms for food. Do I need other drops? Or any other kind of food? Thanks |

Re: Siamese Fighter Fish Questions
In my experience the tank is too small for a single Betta, a 13 litre tank equates roughly to just over 3 gallons before displacement. You will ideally need a 5 gallon tank as a minimum for one of these fish. Some will argue that they only inhabit tiny, polluted puddles in the wild, however that's a complete myth.

Re: Siamese Fighter Fish Questions
I have heard that that is true but only when there is a drowt(sorry about spelling) when the water evaporates and they have no where else to go.Even then they die in thousands so I wouldn't recommend anything lower than 4 gallons at the absoloute minimum
