bad water help
my neighbour has just told me the water supply in my new house is no good for fish..
they had gold fish and they kept dying!
How do I make the water ok for guppies? Do I get a PH test? Then what would I do?
My cousin said there tap water was very 'oily' as in, if u put the water in the fish tank it develoed a 'skin' on top.
She said they used a brita water filter, and her fish are ok now.
Can I just do this? What about if I do this then take a sample to PaH and ask them to tell me if its ok (I have friends who work there).
Sorry for all the Qs, just want to make the water nice for my fish!
