catfish ?

hi guys

im interested in gaining some ideas of types of catfish i can introduce to my current tank.

my tank is set up primarily for catfish and live plants although i do have the odd neon, and glowlight tetras and a few guppies to add a bit of colour and different leveled fish into my tank.

my current catfish include:

glass catfish x1 (plan to get a group of these as i know they are a shoaling species)
bristle-nose x1
bullnose plecs x2
dwarf sucker catfish x3
bronze corydoras x3
peppered corydoras x4
and a juvenile featherfin / alberts catfish (was given under "unknown")

Re: catfish ?

That's a lot of catfish!

How big is your tank? I wouldn't really add anymore bottom dwellers as space could start to become a premium, especially so for the Bullnose (or Rubbernose) Plecs which can become somewhat territorial with eachother unless they're given some room and each is given a smooth boulder that they can call 'home'.

Re: catfish ?

I have 3 glass catfish, that way if one dies I have time to replace it before the other freaks out!
