Ok dumb question here:(

Just setting up another tank.

Its a Jewell.

The queation is....where the built in filter is, where and how does the pump fit on.

Had one of these years ago but I'm sure I haven't got the pump on right.

As the filter faces into the width of the tank there is a hole that as far as I remember houses the heater (not using that as its going to be for coldwater),
then a hole that I thought the pump sat onto? but also seems to be another?

The pump has a kind of figure of eight on the bottom, one housing the spindle and the other just a piece of plastic.

Am I correct in that the o part with spindle goes over the second hole? I just cant seem to get it to fit. Ok its full of water at moment and the answer probably is too empty some and look but at the moment waiting to dash off to hospital.

If dont have to go today then obviously will empty some. I just dont feel its filtering and just drawing water upthrough the pump itself.

mmmmmm...just read this back and sounds a bit confufinglol:

That is a bit confusing. If you look on page 4 this might help http://www.juwel-aquarium.de/data/Pd...n/Lido_120.pdf

Re: Ok dumb question here:(

That does sound confusing and I have a Juwel aquarium.
If it's anything like mine, the back right of it is where a heater would go. In the hole next to it would be the pump and then there's a large hole for the filter foam.

Hope you are able to figure it out.
