RIP Syd
I lost poor little Syd today. I could tell his time was coming, he'd always kind of been a weakling, it was only a matter of time.
I love you little guy, and I'll miss your beautiful colours. Syd Feb.09 - Aug.10

feb 9-aug 10? thats pretty nice going atually. did you breed him yourself, or buy him from a shop ta febuary?
the natural lifespan of a betta is only 1 year in the wild, as they live in temporary pools, and though they can and do live slightly longer in captivity, it still nice to see one living to this ripe old age, especially if you bought him, a he would have been mature when you got him ^^ sorry for your loss, but im sure he had a happy life

I got him from the shop in Feb, I know he had a long life but it's always sad to lose one. I feel a little more upset today as well since it seems that one of my other bettas is on his way out as well.
