Tank: Eheim Aquastar 60 Tank Size: 24"*12"*12" Lighting: 1 15w light tube Fish: 3 Tiger Barbs 5 Albino Tiger Barbs 1 Green Tiger Barb 1 Red Tail Black Shark (RTBS) 1 Synodontis Schoutedeni These Links are too some videos of the tank: YouTube - My Shoal Of Tiger Barbs This one is a bit older: YouTube - Tiger Barbs Fighting The tank has now been running for about 3 months and is waiting for its next inhabitant: Bolivian Rams. I'm keen to hear any thoughts or opinions you have on the tank! |

Re: My 13.5 gallon
there are currently 9 of them!!
I have also added: 1 Gold Ram 1 Opaline Gourami They have been in since Sunday and there has been no fin nipping. Evidently the rule of 6 or more tiger barbs works! |

Re: My 13.5 gallon
I'm warning you, this probably won't last very long. Opaline gouramis can grow to 13cm/5" in length and it certainly shouldn't be in a 2ft tank...
![]() The fact is, it isn't a good idea to have a 'semi-aggressive community' in a small tank. |

Re: My 13.5 gallon
this sounds very sensible advice to me.
