Hi Guys
I am planning to change my brick out house from a 'storage mess' to a nice fish breeding house for a hobby.
I have kept tropical fish, mainly south american cichlids now for about 7 years and feel its now time to try my hand at breeding them.
However i do not have the funds to go a spend hundreds of pounds on nice fish tanks when all they will do is hold fish in my outhouse - I am sure the fish wont mind if there are a few scratches on the tanks etc...
So what I am posting for is for any people that have fish tanks that are old or scratched up etc that they were only going to dispose of - I would gratefully take them of your hands and any other equipment that might help me on my way such as filters and heaters. I would prefer if the tanks were 2ft - 4ft as i will be breeding south american cichlids ranging in sizes. However anything would be considered as i will need fry raising tanks also.
Your help would be much appreciated and maybe i could repay people in the future with fish?!

i wouldnt mind doing this,i keep oscars,i think if i move to somewhere bigger i will.Try freecycle,adtrader and freeads websites.You could place a ad youself requesting tanks,also lots of cichlid types get to big for peoples tanks,so offering a fish rescue service could bring breeding stock in

I Have tried freecycle already and very gratefully found a large biorb tank that was given to me - this will be great for raising fry in .
I have also listed ads in the free ad places also - hopefully i will get a response from that also
However i am looking at setting up 6 tanks in total excluding fry tanks - so as before any one that does have tanks spare etc.. i would be interested in them.
