Re: Eheim Filter

What type of spares are you looking for? The parts from some of the newer filters can be retrofitted onto the old classic series however the best place to look would probably be e-bay.

Re: Eheim Filter

Well its the thermofilter 2315, i've got it set up on one of my tanks because the heater in it broke, so it was kinda rushed together before the temp dropped, I got given the filter and was waiting for trying to find the spares b4 I set it up, I need a new motor cover, some new clips as I only have 2 and there is supposed to be 5 glad it's not leaking. I've just used hosing to take the water to and from the tank and added a spray bar of a different filter I have. Also inside the filter there is a guard over the filter that is supposed to be attached with plastic screws but these were snapped when I got given the filter so this is just resting on the top layer of media.

Its not that the filter isn't working properly just that its quite loud and I thought these were supposed to be quiet silent. I just wanted to make sure it was air tight cos I think air is getting in thats why its so loud.
