Re: Ticks!

A couple of my boys had severe ticks when I rescued them (Literally covered from head to toe, even the ears were shriveled up) I was told to use a small amount of Frontline spray on them. My vet advised me to squirt a bit into a gloved hand then rub it on my ferret. I'm not sure if Front line is licensed for ferrets however. Now, I use Xeno. It is a spot on that kills mites, fleas, ticks, etc and it also worms your ferret. It is quite pricy as I believe it can only be bought from your vet, but I swear by it. It's licensed for ferrets, it's actually specifically designed for small animals

I also keep a special tick tool handy, just in case a rogue tick finds its way onto my ferrets. Fortunately, I have not had to use it.
