my fuzzy needs a op :(

yesterday i found a hard lump in his throat so i took him to the vets today and they said that he needs to have it removed and they are not sure what it is its about the size of a grape and if it gets bigger he may have breathing difficulties. im going to book him in for next week but im really worried about him going under the anasthetic. has any one elses fuzz had a op like this, and been perfectly fine after it? thankx x
